- Payment Data: Bank details, PayPal transaction IDs, and payment history.
- Status Data: Student certificates (where applicable).
IV. Purpose of Processing and Data Security
The primary purpose of data processing is the administration of membership, communication regarding cultural events, fee collection, and the organization of biennial elections.
Storage and Security:
- Member data is stored locally on the secure computers of the current Executive Committee members.
- We implement technical and organizational measures to ensure that your data is protected against unauthorized access.
- Third-Party Sharing: We strictly do not share, sell, or distribute your personal data to any third parties or external organizations, unless required by law (e.g., for tax audits or legal mandates).
V. Data Retention
Personal data is stored for the duration of your active membership. Upon termination or cancellation of membership, your data will be deleted from our local systems after a maximum of three months, unless legal retention periods (such as German commercial or tax laws) require longer storage of specific documents (e.g., payment receipts).
